A sample of our work is below – we’re always excited to try new things and make real impact in health with digital interventions, so please be in touch!
Khetha re-images HIV counselling for youth and consists of a both a series of open-source digital content and a delivery platform built on Ithaka created in partnership with Medecines Sans Frontieres.
HIV Self-testing in Clinics
The Aurum Institute, in partnership with Johns Hopkins, is offering HIV self-tests in health facility waiting areas. To improve efficiency and anonymity of the offering, Aviro is providing digital support in 3 languages to walk clients through testing and linkage to care.
MedMentor Decision Support supports healthcare workers to effectively treat HIV patients by helping them determine whether a patient is eligible for ARV treatment, what drugs to use, and when to initiate treatment- and going a step further by providing access to a referral system and the HIV hotline.
Community HIV Self-testing
Aviro and Wits RHI are piloting the use of the Web and WhatsApp Chatbot functionality of the Ithaka platform to support HIV self-testing distribution in community settings.
To address the issue of out-dated counselling modules and low human capacity for counselling Aviro developed an adult digital syllabus that supports patients through HIV counselling and testing.
