Aviro Manifesto

Aviro is a design-focused health company improving the experience of healthcare. What we do is based in science and elevated with creativity. Our work complements empirical observation with empathy, narrative and meaning to create significance and change in the world of healthcare.

We operate at the interface between patients and health workers, addressing the challenges facing both so that the improved experience of healthcare creates healthier people. We are committed to long-term positive outcomes, so our work always includes sustainability and impact analysis.

We believe that only a strong, confident team can create positive change, so we have a diverse and inclusive team that is committed to supporting each other and being transparent with all stakeholders. We work with people from varied backgrounds (from artists to data scientists to doctors) who seek insights and inspiration from the interactions between people and domains of knowledge, and who appreciate how elegant combinations of these can create meaning and change.

“Good design is a renaissance attitude that combines technology, cognitive science, human need, and beauty to produce something that the world didn’t know it was missing.”

Paola Antonelli, curator of architecture and design, MOMA
